The Aero 40 Disc has a tubeless ready rim that is constructed from a mix of Toray T700 and T800 carbon fiber. 25mm external wide, and wind-cheating profile, make it lighter, and still keep stiff and a strong. We can guarantee the strength and stiffness, in fact, we still guarantee the Aero 40 Disc for 2-years.
The Aero rim is so light, stiff, and strong that there was only one set of spokes that we could lace the wheel using. We have laced the Aero 40 using Sapim CX-Ray spokes. A spoke that is aero and perfectly melds lightweight and stiffness into one package.
Attached at the other end of the spokes, you’ll find a set of sealed bearing ICAN D01 hubs. These hubs are designed to take Centerlock rotors and run a thru axle system, 12 x 100mm at the front, and 12 x 142mm at the rear.
